To gather sound effects for the "Safety First" film I used many different Foley techniques such as sliding wooden planks, clashing metal tools, opening squeaky doors and my own voice. I used an audio recorder to capture the sound on an SD card which I then plugged into the computer to access my audio. Once I had the audio downloaded onto my desktop I went into Premier Pro to synchronise the Harold Lloyd video with my sound effects. After I had put the audio with the video I got some background traffic noise off of a free sound effects website and lowered its volume to enhance the film.
