Nick Fancher is a photographer and author who specialises in dramatic lighting and using vivid colours in-conjunction with unusual camera techniques. He is particularly well-known for his efficient working style, which involves the use of minimal equipment. Nick earned a BFA in photography from Ohio State in 2005 and has written multiple books on his work.
Even with a large social media following Nick manages to use the bear minimum of equipment for his photography. The apparatus he travels with consists of two cameras, two lenses, two lighting setups and a few props.
I love how Nick Fancher uses projection and long shutter speeds in his work to create these visually stunning photos. Having done some projection and long shutter speed photography myself I can see how much work and preparation that must have went into his photos to get the perfect shot.
