This workshop vastly improved my knowledge on how websites work behind the user interface. CSS is an abbreviation for cascading style sheets and works with html code to produce the visual components of a website. Below is a piece of code I wrote to create a base for a website.
Once the code has been saved as an index.html this file will appear and will take you straight to the website.
From the code above I was able to produce this very simple layout of a website with a powder blue background, headings and a link to the BBC website. I found coding a website very insightful and I enjoyed learning about what goes into making a website from scratch.
