As a part of my professional practice and to receive peer feedback from my work I participated in showcasing my work I have completed so far for FMP. This interim showcase was meant to prepare me for the final show which takes place a week after hand-in. It was great to see what other thought of my work so far and see which pieces were the most popular.
To display some of my stills I printed them onto A3 paper; with a frame of my DNA mutation animation being printed on six separate A3's glued together.
On photoshop I was able to create this promotional poster for my VFX short. I also inputted the link to VFX short on YouTube into a QR code generator so that anyone viewing can scan the code and see it on there mobile device.
I used a digital projector to display my Blender hyperspace animation and my VFX short next to my stills.
The projector was very effective for showing my work and it was amazing to see it on such a large format. Below is a short clip of what my hyperspace animation looked like projected on the wall.
In conclusion it was very helpful to participate in this interim show as it gave me knowledge of the best ways to display my work for the final showcase and private viewing.
