Below are the renders of my Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) helmet I made in Fusion 360. First, I got the basic shape of the helmet by extruding a sketch I made of the side profile, which I then filleted to give it a rounded look. I then added the band that goes over the top and front of the helmet. The sides where created by sketching and extruding to create 3D bodies. The cheek indentations caused the most trouble due to there complicated curves. I managed to achieve the look of the cheeks by lofting the surface of sketches on an angled plane. I added all the necessary details on the back of the helmet and filleted/chamfered any sharp edges. To make the visor I cut the shape through the front of helmet and lofted a surface in the gaps to make a face in which to apply a material. I then shelled it so that the inside was hollow before cutting the bottom with an angled box to give it the correct profile. Finally I gave the entire helmet a chrome finish with a tinted visor.
