"Meteorlight" by Jonny Eveson is a stunning animated film which follows the story of a child-like character determined to find out the secrets of the world he lives in. it has a 3D animation style and prominently uses an monochrome colour pallet which gives it a truly unique aesthetic.
"Quarantine" by Astrid Goldsmith is an animated film about a group of badgers who struggle to keep there much loved traditions alive. It uses characters sewn out of material to create its animation style and gives the badgers human like attributes. The film was created with the intention to ensure that animals were treated fairly when transported abroad and isolated in kennels as a cause of Brexit.
"The penguin who couldn't swim" by Tom Rourke follows the story of a disabled penguin who is isolated on an island and feels distant from the rest of her species. Even though she has a disability to swim she is very resilient and inventive with her positive ability's. This film was made to highlight the difficulties that people with disabilities have.
